fuel pump ?

Default fuel pump ?

alright i have a walbro 255 fuel pump that im going to install on my car right as we speak the car is stock "will be turbod in the next few days depending on ups" but my main ? is will it be over kill to run the fuel pump on a stock car for 1 or 2 days? or will it just flood the engin with gas?

julian, my advice is dont do it. that pump will just outflow everything in its path. just hold off and do it on the turbo install.

It will outflow it just the same after the turbo install unless he installs a new fpr at the same time. It's all a matter of how much fuel the fpr can flow to the tank, off-boost turbocharged you'll be using the same low amount of fuel.

ok im not sure but is a S-fmu the same as a fpr?

i have a 255. and no afpr. its not good, but it will run. ive ran it for about a year now (i know i know) so a few days wont hurt ya at all.

If its just a 255 it shouldnt have any affect on driveablilty but the whine.

Julian, the walbro will NOT be over kill. Its not a bad Idea to do it while you are waiting so that way it will be one less headache to worry about.
