gesshh here we go again..... this is the crap im talking about.. pointless.... look, so im a Mod now, who cares... not like im president etc., like Tom said...you guys as an entire group have a lot more power then i do as a single voice...i just now have a couple extra buttons to push etc....sexhopper, chill out man... its not that big a deal. Im just here to try and clean up a lil bit. Im not asking people to get on their hands and knees and praise me. Just b/c someone is a mod, doesnt mean they have to be the most knowlegable person in a forum, or the biggest post whore. Everyone just relax, goodness. Im sure there are plenty of people who can offer information on certain things that i cant.... but thats what we are all here for, TO HELP ONE ANOTHER!!!!!, now... lets all relax.. take a chill pill..and stop this nonsense, im out

 

im in the mitsu tech forums all the time and see a whole lot of nonsense in alot of places and i will admit, from time to time, i will add some nonsense to it. i feel eric will do a good job at being a mod, even though on a couple posts i have disagreed with him. if i can help in anyway shape or form, i will do what i can and add constructive critisizm where its needed. if i see a problem, ill let eric know and he can do with it what he wants. im glad to see that someone who deserves it gets chosen. good luck being the new mod eric, you deserved it. ill give you ideas and opinions about things when they come to mind.

 

OMG... someone who actually is willing to help out someone else!!! haha, nah thanks really, this is what we need...i understand we all have different opinions about stuff, and thats good, otherwise the world would be a boring ass place.... but thanks for the help, and i look forward to getting this forum back to where it once was, any and all advice is welcome

Congratulations on becoming a Mod Eric! I think it was a great choice, I've met him and I know that he's knoweledgable in this area even though hes getting rid of his car. If another mod is needed, then I would agree w/Triple G as well. Both know what they're talking about.

the main things i look for in a mod is someone who cares about TR.. who can see where the issues exist.. and has at least some knowledge of the area they moderate. A Mod doesnt have to the tech go to guy for an area.. just be someone who will read the forums every day (or more than once a day) and be fair in the way they treat people. Its not promotion as such in that its ALOT of work.. and it takes the "fun" out of posting alot of the time. Ask almost any of our mods.. its not as much fun being as mod as it is a user.. as a mod you've got higher standards to live up to. Also helps to get the nod as a mod (haha) if I havent had to deal with you..or havent had PM's complaining about you. We have exceptions to that rule though.. sometimes we try experients when we pick mods.

Bottom line is that Eric got this oportunity because he took some action on his own to raise to our attention some issues.. and instead of whining about it.. flaming people anf what not.. he proposed solutions to these issues. I dont read this forum.. in fact alot of the admins dont.. I dont have a DSM/Mitsu and I dont have the time to read all our tech forums.. so I need loyal TR people to watch these forums for me. And posting about how the real tech is on another site is not a loyal TR person.

Question: A few people mentioned that this forum has "lost" people or that this forum is not what it used to be? What is that supposed to mean? I am just curious. Personally i dont see any issues with this forum.
