right about 5500 rpm, my talon starts to surge and seems to lose power, and it won't hit 6k. anyone know what's going on, or could look at my car to see, i will drive about anywhere. there is no one in sarasota that knows shit about dsm's.

Also can you get the car over 5500 rpms if you just give it like 50% throttle.
Have you boost leaked the car.
Is your bov still vented back into the intake pipe.

 

i got the car from a auction, i konw it has a fmic, bigger turbo, external wastgate stock bypass valve, a homemade boostcontroller safc controller and injectors i think, 3'' downpipe 2.5'' back, a k&N filter, and i think a clutch, there is a centerforce sticker under the hood...on the fmic, the inlet and outlet are right next to eachother is that right??? new to dsm and never boost leaked a car before... i never see a dsm in sarasota besides a mexican with flame sticker all over it, or a old person driving one. i nned to start looking harder

I believe alot of people would say some of the quickest dsm's are in the Bradenton, Sarasota area, its hard to tell because most are not driven daily. Has it always done it since you have had the car.
