i dont mind helping out. i have alot of experience with it. what car is it going in and do you have any type of way to see a/f or EGTs?

 

It's going into a 1993 300GT VR-4. I just bought the car a couple months ago and right now the engine is getting rebuilt it should be done in a little less than a month. Then i'm planning on upgrading the turbos and that's why i have to have bigger injectors. LS1, can you pm me with your number

I would like to know how accurate is a SAFC II at reading knock in a 1g(a real knock gauge-$150 is the way to go IMO if you want to see knock)? I could not get mine to read knock at all but I was seeing a voltage like 00035 to 00050 when I went into the sensor ck. function. I stopped bothering with that crap and rely on my other gauges like my EGT. SAFC or SAFC II should control your injectors, sounds like the 3sx is trying to sell you some BS.

 

i actually think the knock reading is pretty acurate, since it is hooked directly to the ECU. im not too sure if it would work in the 3000GT or not, but it might.

I just talked to Art down at Sidewinder DSM and he said it could be done it will just take some creative tuning.

 

yea, im pretty sure that it could from the get-go, just not too sure on how to get it to work.
