I have both because the emanange can be hooked up with the e01. the e01 can control most aspects of the emanage and whatever it cant do the laptop takes care of.

I have been thinking about upgrading my subs and 2channel amp but i doubt ill be able to considering all the money im going to be spending on the motor. But ill keep you in posted and you will be the first to know if i do.

 

If you own a 2g and get anything other then a dsmlink you need a good slap in the face.

the whole thing was he didnt want to do dsmlink, he got a good deal on the e01 and emanage combo. its called being different and trying something new. this thread is about the tranny breaking, not opinions on the e01 & emanage combo.

Yes I have read up on the emanage and the e01. I have actually owned an emanage setup before and helped a friend hook up and use his e01. I know someone who has personally done better with an emanage then you could ever imagine. He only used the emanage cause the dsmlink was not out for 1g's.

Now maybe you might want to go do some research and read up on the dsmlink and you will realise how it compares.

And if you wan't I'll use a dsm link and you can use your little emanage/e01 setup and I'll just let my car do the bitch slapping for me.

 

Trying something new? The emanage has been out for longer then the dsmlink has ever been offered even for 2g's.

Unless he runs over 127mph traps in his car he isn't doing jack shit new with an emanage setup.

 

im not even going to respond. he wanted to use the emanage/e01 combo since hes had his car, and hes doing it. what the fuck is it of anyones concern? alot of people are using dsmlink and barely anyone is using the e01/emanage setup. who gives a flying fuck whats proven and whats not? the emanage/e01 setup has proved that it works and in your above post, you even stated it. he got the whole setup for around $500 and DSMlink is almost $600, plus you need to find an ECU and have it chipped, like another $350. he doesnt have a shitload of money and is trying to build his car on a semi-budget. now that ive said what i have to say, if you cant say anything else without being a negative fuck, you opinions arent welcome here. so if you will, just leave it out of this post and go do it to someone else, cause frankly, im sick of fucking seeing it.

I like how me being assertive with my points and knowledge on the stand point is me being a "negative fuck". I'm sorry I'm actually trying to tell someone an alternative route to go and what works best. It's not like I have researched and dealt with probably more on dsm's then ANYONE on this mitustech forum other then maybe the mods, tripleg and lancerman.

So go ahead and use your emanage/e01 setup thinking you are trying something new thats been done for quite some time since before you probably ever owned your car.

You might think the fact that everyone using the dsmlink and no one using the emanage setup might be a HINT to you.

Sometimes it's worth the money to spend a little extra when you get your moneys worth. If you can't afford to do things and do them right then other hobbies becon.

I'll be sure to let you know when I come to tampa with my car and well just let the setups speak for themselves and well see who gets bitch slapped.
