Talking my new setup

here in the distant future, my car will be complete, after throwing a rod thru my block, smashing six exhaust valves, breaking my third timing belt in 3 months, I have decided to start fresh, and since I will be getting a very nice chunk of change for my accident(pictured in my sig) I now have the funds to go wild. I am still researching on some parts, but here is the gist of what I will be running so far.

Buschur Racing Stage 3 shortblock and head
ShepRacing tranny,(welded center diff,kazz front diff)
ForcedPerformance FP3065 snail
ForcedPerformance FP30 o2 housing
Tial 44mm wastegate
extrude honed intake?
HKS 272 cams
Buschur Racing 3 inch exhaust, or might go nasty with a 4 inch downpipe
B.R 780 cc squirtors?
coil on plug system?

My new goal upwards of 600hp daily, streetable, no worries and now I will have the money to do so. But im still not sure of the fuel system, ignition, and intake. It is kinda overboard, but after all the shit breaking in my last 6 bolt(thanks to stupid ass previous owners) I think she deserves it but if you guys have any suggestions, feel free to say so.

Geez, I'm assuming the accident wasn't your fault, considering your getting the kind of dough to buy a Stage 3 shortblock/head, and the other goodies listed below.

Otherwise, if it was your fault, I would steer clear of a 600hp "daily driver". Also, why is your hair in the windshield? Were you not wearing your safety belt? You better get in the habit of wearing one, otherwise, you may not live to see the next day.

I hope the project goes well for you though. Alot of DSMers have aimed for a pretty high HP figure and usually end up falling way short. It'd be awesome to see a 600hp DSM riding around on the streets. Seems like you know about all the other supporting mods (Large FMIC, upgraded fuel pump, rail, controller, etc.)

My seatbelt was disfunctional in the Lincoln, but I have a four point in the Talon, a 44mm will be needed, but i was reading an add on the 40mm so it was still fresh.(my bad) Im still not sure about mangement, would dsmlink be sufficient? I know you will be able to give me the best route on that Ian. BTW Ian, did you get my p.m, Im not sure but i think im unable to send and recieve p.m's.

if your going all out why not go with AEM stand alone? iv eheard nuttun but good things about it

i like the setup. i would like to do the same to my fwd. expensive, but worth it. i wouldnt shoot for 600 hp tho, more like 400-450. make sure you get it tuned right!!

if you only hit 450whp with a setup like that you dont need to be tuning a dsm

Usually anyone that says "I'm gonna make X horsepower" doesn't. The people that go fast are the ones that have gone through the lumps of fixing and upgrading time and time again, and by that time, they don't need to make a post asking people about their 'planned setup'. Do you own a second car? If not, buy one.
