Default help

well i am going to be replacing my head this week and i think i have asked this before but i want to make sure i want to know if i have to replace the headstuds when i replace the head it has arp head studs in it right now from the first kid who had it he put them in when he replaced the head gasket if anyone has any idea please tell me thanks alot

No, you don't have to replace headstuds, that is one reason why they are used. Just make sure the studs are torqued in the block correctly, since you are having head problems, the studs could be loose.

ARPS only way to go, torque them correctly and you will never have to worry, yes they can be re-used, i just had a standard 3 angle done on my head, btw if your sceptical on who to take the head to i highly recomend a company called Cylinder Head Exchange, they do excellent work
