Did Mitsubishi ever make an Eclipse GSX Spyder?

If not, has anyone swapped out the GSX drivetrain to make the droptop AWD?

This is news to me. As far as I know there were never any gsx spiders made available from mitsubishi. And I hear the conversion is a summa bitch.

I found this, but it looks like he did the conversion himself.

I'm thinking of going this route instead of a 240SX

That car was converted, i have video's of it before it was awd. Also read this at the bottom of the text...
