Default Evo 8 ?

First off, I know the evo 8 exhaust manifold bolt pattern is slightly different for the 4g63. The reason why I'm asking is because, I want to used the exhaust manifold and turbocharger on my 4g63. How can I make this possible?

Ever notice how an evo8 4g63 motor is a "mirror" of a dsm 4g63. If you tried to use the exhaust manifold/turbo not including the problems you would have with the bolt paterns your exhaust would go out the opposite end and the intake would come in through your alternator/power stearing pump.

It's not worth it. Just buy an evo3 16g and exhaust manifold since they are EXACTLY the same as our usdm 4g63 setups.

Which might be part of my next setup, soon.

Would be a very good choice chris. We just recently had a local DSMer run 11.75 in his awd. only mods were eprom, injectors, fmic, evo3 16g and a safc. Who said dsms were slow?

And I'm sure tom will be glad to hear it was done on a hacked 1g maf.

Yeah I read that on the orl.dsm forums. Thats really good considering the minimal amount of mods. Good stuff.

What turbo are you running right now Chris? I might know of someone who is looking to get rid of a big 16g if you are interested.
