Hey guys i was just wondering if there is anything wrong with my car, it is starting to stall, well not really stall, but when i push the gas pedal, it sometimes takes a few seconds to kick in to actually go, its kinda wierd, is it a transmission problem, or something else, or am i just going crazy, if someone knows the problem and knows what im talkin bout, plz LMK and tell me what i need to do

 

is it doing it while driving? is the car hesitating? give more details because it sounds like you might want to clean out your TB. just give more details so we can diagnosis it further.

 

eh not so much as while im driving, like when i am stopped at a red light and than press the gas pedal about half way down, it tends to hesitate and not suck any gas in, i have to floor it sometimes for it to catch on, hopefully i helped explained it a lil better

 

Is the a automatic.Need to know exactly what car you are refering to and any mods if any.
What you are describing is really hard to diagnos over the internet. Could be so many things like a dirty fuel filter. How many miles on the car?

 

ya sry, it is hard to explain as well, i have a 02 automatic GS eclipse, and just a cold air intake as well as full exhaust is done, not much, but thats all so far thats modded to the car, and i am leaning toward a dirty fuel filter as well, the car is still hesitatin when i am about to go i have to floor it to enable to make the car move, i know it sounds a lil wierdbut if you have any more opinions plz LMK, i appreciate it

 

Where is dsmtuner at? He knows everything, so just wait for his reply and your car should be fixed in no time.

But it sounds like you might have a leak somewhere.

 

a leak eh, haha idk dsmtuner, he acted on his own, if it is a leak, where would it be at and how would i check for it

 

Since you drive a n/a mitsu I would suggest you just check everything from your air filter, to mas, to intake pipe and throttle body and so forth. Make sure all your connections are secure and tight and make sure you don't have any hoses just going to no where.

another thing, are you throwing any CELs? if so, they you need to have that checked out as well.
