I've met Taka, he's cool. Y'all shouldn't be so quick to flame when it doesn't involve massive spoilers and third gens.

Anyway, if you want an AWD car, stick with the Evo. Or you could import an awd DSM . Just kidding.

Seriously though, if you want the boxer engine effect, just unplug a spark plug wire, it will sound the same and if you want a normal exhaust note, you can just plug the wire back in. Can't do that on a Subie.

My first purchase of a DSM that ran properly was from Taka (on ebay, actually)...

In conclusion, I know nothing about him (except he left for Japan after I purchased the car)...

I give Thumb up to DSM evo5
just letting him know that , an evo 5 (any evo) is not a DSM , taki or not LOL

BTW you guys are lucky down there, i here like all imported cars coming in through there. I ran into a 95+ year model jdm galant vr4 with the 6A13TT motor at englishtown NJ raceway park. thing was sweet.

you can blame me about my English. I'm just not good at language. I can't even speak Japanese well everythings my English problem I'm not worrying anything. every dsm people I met are nice.

the evo would be the best street grip car. I still can't forget that my friend was going really fast on hairpins. and the car is stock except exhaust & coilover. I can't imagine how fast he could drive, if it had mr2's engine with smaller turbo.

i hear wrx trans is as heavey as pos 4cylinder motor. I'll need your help when i saved up money for an awd car. I like 4g more than ej, but 1 of friend recomends the wrx. 4g63 is such a nice motor, I wish mitsu had RWD car with 4g. I'll buy one right now.

the next time if i have chance to see mitsu cars, I'll take pix and vids for you. He offered me to test drive the car, but I didn't have insurance

btw dsm = usa made mitsu?

peace

wow taka... im surprised the old RE-01's hung in there that well. sounds like it was wicked fun. i would suggest sticking with a 4G motor too... they are easier to work on than the EJ's...

actually, you COULD import a 1G DSM... set it up for grip quite easily. there are coilovers available for the 1G DSM's and such. add a welded center diff and it should be able to oversteer when you want... especially with a feint.

you could also do a Starion with a 4G63 swap... however, the obsolete steering setup on those cars is not very good for quick inputs. IIRC, its not rack and pinion at all. you could always do what id like to do: 4G63/R154/FC3S add a custom Eaton M90 supercharger and have instant torque
