eclipse ?
i work at mitsu on dale and hills i see them all the time with head gaskets leaking oil cause of a cork head gasket also the covertable top leaks all the time i would get a hard top dsm gst or gsx
Also a bit slower, because of the weight put on by the motor thats used for the convertable part.
Its not that much heavier oher than the wieght of only 150 lbs more. I previously owned a 98 GS-T Spyder and the motor that controls the opening and closing went out. Other than that, it was a great car to drive especially with the top down.

Depends on what you're looking for...if you're looking to mod your car (other than rice it out, actually mod it performance wise) go for a Gst Spyder they're nice and I've seen some in the $5xxx region which is definetly not that bad. (If you want the convertible that is). If you don't mind a hardtop, a Gsx or a Tsi Awd (if you want to save some cash) is the way to go, Awd is really nice. However if you're looking to save $ and more of a daily driver, go for the gs spyder I see no problem with that decision. Good luck either way.
