Default 2G AWD System

Are both diffs LSD or just one (If so which one)? Do the 2G's have the same 4 bolt the late 1G's have? How strong is the drivtrain? If there is anything I should know about a 2G AWD before buying lmk.
Thanks, Frankie

PS - It already crankwalked.

The front is not LSD. I am not sure if all rears are LSD in the 2nd gen. on a 1g some are some arent. You have to look at the rear diff cover and see if there is a LSD tag on it. The drivetrain is fairly strong considering the weight of the 2g.

If it already crankwalked is it coming with a 6 bolt swap?

Do only LSD rears have a tag on them? Couldnt someone just put the tag on if they wanted? No it doesnt have a 6 bolt, its got a 98 motor in it but its not hooked up just bolted in so i dont even know if it runs or not.

I know what car your talking about and thats risky. I have never looked real hard at a 2g rear to see if they have a lsd tag like 1g`s but i believe there was a tag in the drivers door also. I am pretty sure all 2g rears are the same i have never heard of any differences.
becarefull when buying a car that doesnt run there are so many things that could be wrong with it.

slicks and spray should put me in the 8's cuz slicks make you run 9's even on a stock car but seriously no spray just a 6 bolt and a big turbo. What are the weak points in the AWD system?

If you launch it hard shit'll break and the shit that breaks is usually more expensive than FWD.

What usually gives first, the transfer case or the diffs?

Why do you say that?
A fwd is more likely to brake 2nd gear and front axels then any part of a awd`s drivetrain.
