Those things are a pain. My friend has one in his 240sx and it is nothing but trouble. When you say you are overboosting, what do you mean? I'm guessing you have the warning function set up and you keep getting the annoying red flashing? There are two main ways to overboost. You're probably either spiking or creeping. If boost shoots past your set boost and then settles back down, you need to play with the gain to get it to build boost slower and start opening the wastegate sooner. If you're creeping, nothing short of good portwork or raising your boost level will cure it. If your boost is set to 17 psi and your alarm is at 18, then you have a case of expecting too much of the unit, because they seem to vary up to 1 psi or more at times. I'm not really clear on how the warning system works, but I'd bump it up to 2 psi variance if that's an option.

as long as you have a fuel pump, you should be safe. i ran a big t28 w/stock 450s at around 22 psi w/no knock and 28-32 degrees advanced timing
