Well I got rid of my car so Im looking for something to drive. A friend mentioned his uncle is selling his old truck. Well I went to see it and it looks pretty nice. It was an auto but was just switched with a new 5 spd tranny. The engine is a 4cylinder and has been ported and polished and recently rebuilt(not sure on the miles), it has an msd ignition and a full exhaust. Its lowered and has aftermarket rims. Almost everything has been striped like the ac for example so its all motor. It has the pop up sunroof and sliding rear window. My question is, how were these trucks. Yea it has a lot of aftermarket work and its only for a grand but does it sound like I would get my moneys worth? were they reliable? Does anyone here have one? Thanx for any info.

 

I had a 89 Mitsu P/U and the truck was VERY reliable. (I bought it brand new.) I put 98,000 HARD miles on my truck and NEVER had a problem with it. IMO the Mighty Max is a great truck.

 

I heard that if turbo'd they can be fast as hell.

 

thank for the info. Ive also heard that a rx7 rotary motor would fit in it. Im not good with engine numbers so I hope you all know what I mean. This might of been brought up before but while im here how much would it be to get a turbo kit for the car? Again thanx for the info.
