i need to find another ecu for one of my 92's... actually, for the AWD car thats got the AT but has 14b,starion fmic and 450's... the car doesnt run for crap with these 450's and the stock ECU. its obviously the reason why the car has a Field's SFC orignally... but since i dont have that anymore, i just need to find an ECU out of a MT car..

if anyone's got a non-leaky ECU for my 92 5spd, LMK. id rather deal face-to-face rather than over the intraweb on DSMtrader.com

I ran my automatic with 450`s and 14b with the auto ecu and it ran fine. There is a yahoo board for automatics and i never heard of anyone needing to change the ecu after putting 450`s in. What fuel pressure regulator do you have on it. The auto fpr runs a higher base fuel pressure.
Is it running to rich?

Yea, its running wicked rich. it just stumbles and hesitates when i rev it... i can floor it and itll stumble and hiccup untill it reaches 4k and it just revs smoothly after that... it blows alot of black smoke when i rev it too. i swapped in an ECU from my GST which is a 5sp and it ran alot smoother and didnt blow any black smoke...

ive always known people to swap in the 14b, 450's and MT ECU and it would make it run great.

its weird... i dunno. but i also need the MPI relay that sits right by the ECU. its got a 10-pin plug going to it.. for some reason, the talon didnt even have it.

as far as i know, its the stock FPR. this car has had these mods since like 93 or 94.
