Ok look after friday night with braking 2 rims ive decided that i have thrown away too much money into my car and with me looking to buy a house with a friend of mine i need a reliable car that i wont spend too much money on. so this time i mean it the galant is for sale. the motor was JUST rebuild by Brian and I it has 750 miles sence it was done. compression is 160 in cylinders 2,3,4 and cylinder 1 is at 140 due to a slightly worped head 1 thousandths of an inch to be exact. the car has a low mile 14b on it and boosts to 18 psi with ease. starion front mount which is a descent up grade from stock. car also will come with a keydiver chip which was 100 it just needs to be installed. also i will get two new galant vr4 rims for the car to replace the broken ones. car does not leak oil. has no ac tho but has every thing it needs to be hooked up car will also come with an extra set of front seats and othe misc stuff i have for the car. im asking 4k for the car, the paint is in great shape and car has only three dents. back seat has small tear in it but the body of the car has 180k on it and thats the only tear in the leather. also the tranny shifts great and im gonna change the fluid before i sell it cause it needs to be changed (scheduled maint) ill post pix later but most of you have seen the car. Engine pulls hard and with a better than stock cluch which i have in there now that has only 5k miles on it this car will easilly run 13's. like i said ii need some thing reliable for now and i hate to sell this car but i must.

... i was thinking a 97-03 grand prix gtp and get the stage 4 kit for it from 3800 performance.com ill get back into dsm's when i can afford it. i just need somethin reliable and kinda fast.

 

IMO IMO grand prix are chick cars, I personally wouldnt let a friend get one. take for example the pontiac commercial where they are in the salt flats you see the car going nuts and all over, and a mans hand shifting, then the camera pulls back and says get one today and you see a womans face.


no matter how quick you make it i still see it as a chicks car.


plus so far if my car has survived under my abuse im suprised and would say my car is reliable.

i say find something else other than a chick grand prix.

Yea, we will talk more about it because if your worried about a 2g insurance, then you have yet to check a newer cars insurance, more value, more cost. etc. then your getting the performance high value. etc. :o
