My friend has a 96 spyder gs that is burning oil and smokes considerably when over 5000 RPM. The car has 140k miles, most of which were on the highway. He was wondering what is the most likely cause of this and how much it could cost to be fixed. I think its probably either the rings or valve seals but I'm not familiar enough with these engines to be sure.
