Default looking for a shifter cable

ok i know the dealership can get them, so dont post go to your local dealership, i need one now mine broke last night on my way home from work and its now stuck in seond gear. The dealer dont have them in stock and it will take 3 to 4 days before they can get one. I know that there has been a lot of parted out 2gs around here, have cash need shifter cabel for a 2g gsx i dont know if it matters from a gst to a gxs with the cables but any help would be great need my car for work.. luck for me im off today like to take care of this now thanks

You can reach under the hood and put the car into neutral, and then probably use gears 1/3/5 if you have to get around. I know you don't want to hear it, but used shifter cables are going to get you back where you are now, before long.

thanks for the info, but yeah i just went ahead and got one from the dealership they said $98 for it and it will be in tomorrow thanks
