Default engine swap

i have a 1992 eclipse with the crap motor. i am planning on swapping it for the 4g63 in the not to distant future only thing is, i like power steering and mine doesnt have it. any ideas on how difficult it would be to swap out the parts with those from a junkyard car, to get it?

I will trade you a power stearing set up for your non power stearing rack.

iim not sure but , you will also need the ecu for the 4g63 , the mounts might be different because the tranny is on driveer side for the 1.8 and passenger side for 4g63 , plus the front axles. besides that you just need to see where the mounts are , and if the mounts are layed out different , just get a cross member from a junked 4g63 1st gen and swap that also , what you looking for turboed 4g63 or non turbo which the non turbo galant has?

the tranny is not on the drivers side on my 1.8. and i dont think that it is on any of the 1.8's i think all the mounts are the same too.

The only thing in this paragraph that is acurate is that you would need a 91-94 turbo ecu. Everything else is so wrong its funny.

It is a strait swap and very easy to do. All the mounts are the same.
