By dead cylinder I'm assuming he meant he just didnt get any spark due to the fouled plug.
Yea, dead cylinder due to not getting spark...Frying a piston from overboosting? That's practially impossible to do with a T-25, lol. The turbo itself would probably give out first before harming the engine

God this is so beat to death. I doubt your car runs any faster or better with an atmosphere dump BOV, its surely the placebo effect. Put it back to how it should be, or invest in the proper electronics to run your car with an open BOV if its that important to you.
