Default adjusting the clutch pedal

i have read that you can adjust your clutch on the 2g`s. Just wondering how i can do that, my clutch only disingages all the way to the floor. And if the floor mat gets in the way ill grind gears because the clutch is not all the disengaged.

Climb underneath your dash. There is a rod near the gas pedal that threads into the master cylinder. Loosen the nut on it, and spin the rod with your hand. Spinning the rod counter clockwise should bring the clutch off the floor. Spinning the rod clockwise should move the engagement point toward the floor. Rotation is in relation to the bracket. Move it a little at a time, and go ahead and bleed your clutch if you haven't done so already, because its good to do.
