with all due respect www.VFAQ.com is a valuable place for DSM guys... but their 1G 2G connector (MAF) wiring diagram is not done very well. I got everything broken down.. I have a 1G coil pack connector (same as the 2G maf connector) , and a 1G MAF connector... where do the wires go? starting with the butchered 1G MAF connector... what slot do they go into on the coil pack connector so I can plug in my 2g maf?

 

what? ok cut the connector off of the 1g mas its brown and will have little chrome things in the back. keep the 2g plug pluged into the 2g mas and have some wire comming off of it and connect those wires into the brown hacked up part from the 1g mas and follow their directions with the # (don't go by colors) and then plug your origional plug into the bron plug like always but now tht plug has the 2g mas plug on it so your goods to go. if that doesn't help call meandill explain it better 727 808 4423 or go to tampa bay dsm and search and you will find a tread on it. thanks mike

 

Yo tampabay.dsm.org is DOWN and has been for a while... I get what you said... I have done that... I need to know the order of the wires... starting from 2g - to the 1G hacked connector... (left to right... top to bottom)

 

TBDSM is not down. make sure you dont have "www" in the URL

2g wire #'s attach to 1g plug #'s


1- YB 4 on 1G plug 1-4
2 - YR 7 on 1G plug 2-7
3 - B 2 on 1G plug 3-2
4 - W 3 on 1G plug 4-3
5 - YG 6 on 1G plug 5-6
6 - BW 8 on 1G plug 6-8
7 - Y 1 on 1G plug 7-1
