Need dipstick. Keeps blowing out of the hole and oil spraying all over the place. Anyone know where i can find one without spending like 75 bucks on one at the dealer?

THanks.

I just clamped the top of the tube with vicegrips until it couldn't come out on its own. Be sure to clamp it with the dipstick still in or you may not be able to get it to go back in.

No idea where you are getting the price for an oil dipstick. But they are ripping you off. I just ordered a new one from www.mitsupartsdirect.com . I called them and spoke with Mike Deal who is in charge of the parts dept there. I told him I was a member of DSMtuners and he hooked me up. I got a brand new ICS for $118.00. I also got the dipstick. Here's the part # and cost :

MIT MD312865 GAUGE,ENG OIL LEVEL 1 $6.54.
I am looking at getting all of my OEM parts from them as they have constant specials. Best I have been able to find. A special thanks to firebreather for hooking me up with Mike @ mitsupartsdirect.com.

BTW they are revamping their website so might want to call them instead.

runs from the back left corner of your valve cover to the intake mani. if its clogged the pressure pops your dipstick out

Definition: The Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve is an emissions control device that routes unburned crankcase blowby gases back into the intake manifold where they can be reburned. The PCV system is one of the oldest emission control devices, and also one of the most beneficial. Besides totally eliminating crankcase emissions as a source of air pollution, the constant recirculation of air through the crankcase helps remove moisture which otherwise would cause sludge to form. Thus the PCV valve extends the life of the oil and engine. The PCV valve requires little maintenance. The valve and filter should be replaced somewhere around 30,000 to 50,000 miles
