i think there is, but i don't know for sure (or care). there are however many locals who build and repair these cars and basically know them like the back of their hand...

 

I will still work on them, but cars gotta come to me and im in Bradenton.

As for Sidewinder... Tony I guess is the old guys name... I talked with him a couple of times, and couldent believe the crap he was spuing outta his mouth... just out and out lying. His car was all stock with a buncha shiny covers and hard vaccume lines. He said the car ran 10s right to my face. I asked him all kinds of questions about the car, while he would answer them, I would look at the car and know he was lying. Afterwards I had the best laugh I had in a long time. He ended up doing an engine for an ex customer of mine, and he completely ripped him off, I couldent believe it. Then did another one cause that one blew up, and not sure but I think another one followed after that. Anyways, Ill stand with Tom here, im not trying to flame, or whatever, just stating what I heard from this guy, and that has become his rep. Im sure you work hard to get a rep for the shop, but its gonna be hard with an old man who can't keep his mouth shut about stuff he dosen't know.

 

ya know man im just gonna let that slide i dont have time to get into this kind of discution. nor do i want to waist my time with hear say BS....

Thats what you are not getting non of it is hear say. He (Tony) said all of this crap right in front of several very knowledgeable DSMers. There is NO HEAR SAY. But i am sure Mike, myself and others i wont bring into this but have been into this hobby longer than most around here imagined this hear say stuff.

Jerry is some one i deffinitely trust. Wonder what he would think of this 10 sec car. He "may" have been there that day.

 

look man i dont know about what conversation went on that day...I was talking to other people...and I dont know if jerry was there or not i have no idea??? and yes jerry is a good guy but why was he brought into this convesation in the 1st place???
