Does anybody know this guy personally??

In february I tried to buy his greddy type s blow off valve for 100 dollars. He lives in cocoa beach, i didnt feel like driving down there so we decided to do this deal over the internet. He said that he will ship it as soon as he gets the money. I sent the money pay pal, towards the end of feb, i talked to him he said that he would look for the bov. 2 days later he said that he couldnt find it and that he would have to send my money back. I said that that was fine. He never sent the money. He then said that it takes 5 days or so for the money to go through pay pal.... I had never used pay pal b4 i had no reason to suspect the guy was scamming me. After 5 days when it didnt come through i talked to the guy he said hmm it didnt work hell try again and it will take 5 days or so. So now im starting to get suspicious. The guy said that if it oesnt go through this time hell just send a money order. Well long story short he never sent the damn money. If any of you know him and could get the money from him or the bov thatd be fine. I just want my 100 dollars back. He blocked my sn on AIM and I cant get ahold of him.

with paypal, the person can spend money instantly, but it takes 4-5 days for the charge to clear on whatever credit card he has the paypal feeding from.

basically, if i have $0 in my paypal, i can paypal somebody $20, and the $20 will go to them instantly, and my paypal account shows -$20 and my card is charged, and then my paypal is balanced.

if you have his paypal addy, i can try to look up some information and get his phone number or full name, and we can get his address and do something about it. ill talk to you about it when i see you.

 

wouldn't that essentially be termed as "mail-fraud"? cause you are using the internet as a form of payment and he stole it from you using the "mail".... i've told aaron this before.. but was never sure if it really was "mail-fraud"... anyone know?

 

the shit is that you could have filed a complaint on paypal within 30 days of the payment for non-receipt and unless he could provide a tracking # it would be awarded to you so you'd get your $ back - pm me his sn I'll talk to him - seriously - but after 30 days it's late so unless you can get him to be "nice" and return your $ then you're out of luck on this one - I hate bitches like that I sent this guy madden 04 for ps2 that he bought on ebay from me - he sent me the $ via paypal b4 I sent it - well I sent it the cheapest way possible non-tracked & + it still came out to be more than the $5 I charged him - well long story short he received the item (I know this b/c he emailed me that he got it) and then still filed a claim saying he didn't get it - and I was out of luck I had to refund his shit b/c I didn't have proof of shipment - paypal is bad luck best thing overall to do is escrow - seriously - takes long but worth it - also if it was on your CC - I would say it was fraudulent use or something but now it's too late for anything should have acted within like 2 weeks after you didn't get it

Ok here's the deal. Apparently somebody knows this kid on Orlando DSM forums. He hates him as well. But this guy has his exact address, his home and his cell phone. Awesome! Called his house i talke to his aunt explained the story, pretty much told her that if he doesnt get in touch with me or send the money to me i will have the police at his door step. hes on probation too, SWEET! Im getting my money back!
