First Time to the Track.
define suspension...and what kinda tires...new tires are good, but if they are all weathers they aren't gonna do shit, lol, also, the main reason to take care of all that, is to prevent wheel hop...your tranny will thank you for it

^^^ Well then... guess that proves that point wrong... anywayz dude... just pay a professional mechanic to look at ur GST... aaron nor me, nor any of us really know what to look for that a mechanic does... just spend the cash and have it checked out professionally... it'll be worth the effort
Most normal mechanics would have no clue what to look at when it comes to turbo cars. Especialy DSM`s. Your best bet is to let some one who has been into this hobby for some time look at it. Aside forom myself their are very few people i would let even look under my hood.
PS: What needs looked at?

and no, my point wasn't proven wrong, being as that Tom's car is AWD, the stock suspension being soft allowed the car to weight transfer alot, however, since there is power going to the back tires, the squat doesn't affect the launch like it would a fwd, btw Tom, did you get it to tap the muffler on the ground?
, when a fwd transfers really hard and pulls the front away from the ground, less weight on the tires = traction loss, i know this from experience in my own car...so now to be more specific, adjustables shocks would be ideal, setting a little bit loose up front, but not too loose, to allow the tires to bite, and setting it as stiff as possible in the back to fight against weight transfer, lowering it also helps by lowering the center of gravity, therefore not allowing as much travel when weight transfering occurs...when lowering, do use camber plates as well

aarons tires suck.
as well as, in most of the 60 ft length, aaron's car really is not running full boost at all (beginning 2nd gear). for anyone who has ridden in aarons car, we all know his second gear starts slow.
oh well.
