Default New to DSMs ?s

Hi, I'm new on these forums and new to DSMs (I owned a '94 Celica before) and I have a few questions about my car and mods for it.

As you can see in my sig, my car is Smoke Grey so I was wondering about performance and dress up parts.

Ok first, performance -
I was wondering about a good brand header I could get for my car and whether an Apex'i or Borla exhaust would be better. I'm also want to know what are good springs for these cars (Eibachs?) and would gunmetal 17s look good on the car, or should I go for silver painted, and what tire brand is good? Also, whats a good CAI for an Eclipse Spyder.

Dress up <-Rice
Ok, I plan on getting projectors with blue tinted lights (you kno, the kind that blind you) and blacking out the taillights. A carbon fiber hood, cause that big ass hump in front of my is annoying and I think it would match the rims and tails and top. And would a GST spoiler look too ricey (prolly) and I should just keep my stock on.

I don't plan on putting on no stupid bodykit and I do plan on converting the car to manual later this year (or next year) and going turbo later on in '05.

Ok, thats it

Oh yeah, and I got a bra for sale that'll fit the 95-96 Eclipse. Make an offer if you want it.

I plan on Turboing later on. Besides, all the GSTs down here are driven to the ground or are overpriced with way too many miles. Easier for me to Turbo later on after I get a rebuild and change the car to manual next year.

you just have to find what u want. i got a gst from a 60 yr old man so it wasnt run into the ground. really good price too. and wait till you start to do the turbo setup then tell us how its easier for u.

a good dsm here in FL seems hard to come by, i was just looking in autotrader for fun, i saw nothing appealing, everything had high miles. if you wanna keep the gs spyder and you're lookin for some fun
basic bolt ons + 50-75 shot but be careful i had a 50 shot on my 98 rs, makes a nice difference.

I bought a virgin stock GSX for $2500. Miles on a DSM don't mean anything.

It is hard to find parts for your motor because you have a 4G64, all the non turbo coupes came with a 420A. For exhaust as long as it is a manufactured cat-back you shouldn't have a problem, or you could just go custom. As for springs Eibach is good, H&R, any ture coilover would be the best setup. Intake, AEM is good, Injen, and Iceman are the ones I have heard good things from. I have gunmetal 17's on my car and I think it looks good. But my opinion should not matter just do what you think looks nice and buy what you want. Just don't get crappy parts because you will regret it.

You don't want to go through the money and the hassle of turboing your n/t eclipse. it will be A LOT cheaper to just selling it and getting a gst or even better a gsx. a lot of people went down that route and it's no fun.

aside of that, nice ride man, i like that color a lot, and welcome...
