3/s?
Hey everybody, I'm wondering where all the guys with the 3000GT's and Stealth's go to post things on this forum. I've been looking for awhile and haven't seen anything about either car. Thanks for choosing Mitsubishi and have a nice flight.
Ok, then I was wondering if anyone has gotten a motor from www.osakajdmmotors.com? They have the cheapest 6G72 engine I've seen yet. Yeah, I don't have the VR4
but I have the SL. I've been looking for the cheapest best upgrade you can make to one. Thanks for your support. Bye
yeesh bro,
well.... im not sure if you know of www.3si.org
but do realize what you plan. honestly isnt worth it.
bad: 3s is a heavy beotch.
good: they corrected it with AWD
good SL: great heavy stable highspeed car.
bad: NA FWD HEAvy car
these are just a couple things that im pointing out, not involving upgrading the FWD tranny components which are exspensive to accomadate a powerful engine and the cost and your results
My personal suggestion, sell it. save your money and get a VR4 or TT.
You can modify your car, over spend and not come close to a TT Awd.
sorry, but its true.
There are some ATXs (FWD Turbos) but look at the results and how much they paid.

Thanks, this is going to be my first car though. My car weighs exactly 3,198 which is pretty damn heavy, but I'm kind of going almost for a show car (I swear I wish I had the turbos, Active Aero, AWD, and AWS). If I had a TT or a VR4 then I would be building for speed. I want this car to be moderately fast. I've heard of www.3si.org and I can't sign up because it says my email has been banished by one of the moderators. What I was going to do was sell the car with the new motor with 35,000 miles TOPS on it. And sell it for about 4 or 5 grand. What do you think about this plan? NOTE: I bought this car for $1,400 and everything is in working order. The engine in it now has 117,000 miles on it and the guy didn't do the 60,000 mile tune up and when he sold it to me, he already did the 120,000 mile tune up. Thanks for your help and any more suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again and bye.
I say do all the bolt-ons and spray it. Probably could get into the low 13's with ease. A turbo kit would probably be more of a hassle than it's worth, cost wise, it'd be cheaper to just pick up a vr-4 and then you get the bonus of AWD, AWS, variable suspension, and some other goodies. Definetly checkout www.3si.org.

SLs are FWD? Holy shit I never knew. That's horrible.
Why go through the trouble of getting a new motor? Just do some basic maintenance to the car and then sell it. I don't think you'll get 5 grand for it though. My friend picked up a 91 VR4 in perfect condition for 5700.

This 3000GT is in mint condition except for the antenna doesn't go up or down, it just stays all the way up. I want to put an engine in it with 35,000 miles on it, and then sell it for around 4 or 5 grand. It's not that hard as long as I have all the papers for the engine swap. I want to save up and then hopefully buy a VR4 (My dream car). I bought this car in the first place because I knew it was a steal. People are like your car sucks because it doesn't have stuff like the TT's and VR4's have. I know it's not as good as those cars but it still has a lot of power. Y'all should go to www.stealth316.com for any more information that you are unsure of. I know about pretty much all of the 3000gt websites, I'm just wondering if anyone on this site has one? Thanks and peace.
