clutch sliping

Default clutch sliping

hey i just got my eagle talon tsi down 2 florida 2day so i felt lik going for a ricer search . wen i find the civic we go for it and i walk hem but i sliped the hole 2nd gear!!!!!! my foot wasnt on the pepal or anything !! and now sometimes it slips into 2nd.
did i burn my clutch out?
wat can i do about it or do i have 2 change it? '

sounds like it's time for a new disc at a minimum.

Ahhhh okay, sounds like you killed your 2nd gear, time to rebuild the tranny

If the clutch isn't slipping, I dunno why you think you burned the clutch out. But it's prolly a good idea to throw a 2600 and new disc into the tranny when you rebuild it.
