Allright i can't find anyone to buy my car so i think i'm gunna just stick with it. My question is..does anyone know of a place to have my ECU reprogramed for better performance and about how much would this cost? thanks jake

 

you dont reprogram the ecu. If its a eprom ecu you can have it socketed and get a eprom chip for it.

 

where could i get it socketed and is there any place you guys would suggest getting a chip from...PS my car is N/A

 

In that case i have no idea. Sell it and get a turbo car. There is your performance upgrade.

he's been trying... jake, you are probally hearing stuff about rom-tuning the 240sx ecu's, no one has hacked the dsm ecu or at least no one around here... it would be tight and a good platform to start from but not now at least...

 

There is a group of people working on it. I haven't checked in on the dsm-ecu list in a few weeks, I'll have to see how it has been going with some of my spring break free time.

 

mabye i will lend my car as a project to anyone who wants try but it would be sweet if someone could do it..cause as it seems right now i will have to stay N/A cause i can't get this car sold to by a Gs-t or Gsx.....who knows

I know how u feel.I tryed to sell mine but since no one wanted to pay the money my beast is worth i decided not to give it as a gift to some idiot that will fucked up so I decided to start working with it (pizza) and drive it until it dies completely.I spent like 3 grand on it in upgrades and reconditioning so I'll never be able to get my money back from it.The car is in very good shape and after I get the hood and top repainted and lay some white stripes (viper stile) it'll look awesome.

 

yeah i was thinking about putting a tubro on my car but i don't know how comfortable i feel about putting a turbo on the 420a i heard alot of bad stuff about doing it and i really don't wanna have that happen to my car..i relly just wan't a 1st gen gs-t
