so i finally have my setup of parts:
evo 3 16g
550's
safc2
quaife
warlboro255
and 2.75 dp to 3"
Greddy hard pipes and bov
I have a few questions,
1. What does the stock ic flow cfm wise, and will a ic spray bar on the side mount be as efficeient as a front mount if the stock ic can flow enough?
2. What kind of whp can I expect with a well tuned setup?
3. Does anyone have a cheap spare tranny for sale? I feel like when I get everything working together I'm gonna need it.

that set up is just begging for a nice healthy front mount i/c
i have a fwd 95 and i'm getting jerry to do my tranny, good luck finding a good "spare" fwd 2g tranny for sure tho.

I dont think the shitty 2g side mount will even get you close to the full potential of the evo III 16g. I was getting heat soaked on a 1g smic on a 14b on 20psi. With pretty much all of the above mods you mentioned.

deffinitly time for a fmic kit. good luck with fmic and all of that stuff you listed you should be able to get around 300 hp 265 at the wheels or so.

stevo why do u want a spare tranny u already have a jerry built and a act 2100 and a quaife i dont think ur gonna need a tranny i think u need a fmic and when the time comes for a tranny then worry about it

Damn, 265 whp? thats was lower than what I was expecting to hear. Sounds like were gonna have to gut the bitch when you get down here madis. I would be dissappointed to say the least if all I could pull out of these mods is 265.

im thinking a little bit above 265... w/ out a front mount you might get about that but with a fmic or a big smic (supra, rx7, dejon) im pretty sure tuned well (which sectret services does very well, on my car a safc install and tune gave me 25 wheel horsepower and only in 7 passes...) so im thinking about 300 w/ ic upgrade... but you will just have to wait and see... just a word of advise though, dont get hooked on some exact hp number you want becasue thats what i did and i was let down so much when i got my numbers... good luck man

Unfortunately, our cars are not Dyno Queens like the Supras where you jump an extra 100-120hp with only BPU mods, and where 600-800HP can be achieved, with a big single. Sounds like you have a nice, strong setup going there, good luck with the car.
