if you buy a car with a broke tranny, i could take you upwards of a FULL YEAR to get the thing fixed LOL, that's what it's takin for me, maybe sure you have the $$ to fix it right off the bat.

upwards of a year, lol....it'll take between 2 days and 1 week to rebuild a tranny, depending on if parts are available, and 1 day to swap in another...cost all depends.

I would get rid of the 4 puck in there if its going to be a daily driven car, or if you just want to keep your drivetrain in proper working condition. You can either replace the tranny or just have it built. your probably better off getting a replacement tranny.
from what I know the 90's came with a 22 spline transfer case and the 91+ came with a 23 spline t-case. Nevermind I all ready see he has switched it to a 91 tranny.
I have heard that jerry does some good rebuilds on his trannys, so maybe contact him and get a cost and time frame. Or you could send it to shephard and have him do a rebuild. I have been happy with the double syncros in 2nd and 3rd he did with mine.

Or just hunt down replacement, but be prepared to break stuff with that clutch he has now.

jerry does very good builds, and is an honset person to deal with. His name is lancerman on here and can be hard to get in touch with, but speaking from personal experience its worth whatever effort it takes.
