i did a compresstion test to day and it only has 35 psi in across the bord, then i looked at the cam gears and it looks like the intake cam is like 2 or 3 teeth off, wich i would think thats way im not getting sparke because of the cam sensor . and i think thats y im not getting any compresson its just going out the intake, thanks for any input u can give me ,to help..brian

pull the head and send it to a machine shop to get redone, sounds like a buncha bent valves. order a new timing belt tensioner, get a belt, water pump, and have fun.

Line the motor to TDC, and check your timing marks. also when the motor is here, check your cam angle sensor, make sure the line is close to the mark.... its on the sensor... i cant really explain it better, just need to pull the sensor and look at the tab.

if you're still not sure, and decide to pull the head (and at this point still can't tell if the valves are bent), the machine shop can pressure test it and then you'll know for sure. btw, i was up there sunday, but forgot to bring your number. sorry.

ya, mikes right, you gotta kinda see the timing setup eyes on to understand....the thing with valves could be true, but normally bent valves send compression right to 0, however, definitely a possibility

yea, bent valves usually equal 0.....are you doing a full crank, or just bumping it? i turned mine over about 2 times cause if i just bumped it some i would only hit about 50psig or so

hmmm, my experience was with it bent, it wouldnt close all the way and wouldnt seal properly, hence no pressure. then i had the joy of the machine shop doing my work, and giving me my head back to me and none of the valves shut!!!!! im glad i didnt put it on the car, i wouldnt probably bent them all again, they forgot to bleed the lifters so all the valves were raised about 1/4 inch
