Arrow Squeaky Belts?

Well, along with my UDP I put on new belts as well (alternator & water pump). Seemed to be fine for awhile, but now they are squeaking alot when I first start the car and drive it. It usually stops once the car has warmed up though (3-4 minutes of driving). And it doesn't do it at idle...only while accelerating. Someone said the tensioners might be bad? I was thinking they're too tight? Maybe too loose? They seem nice and snug to me, but I'm no mechanic. Any opinions welcome...

usually means they're loose, my 98 rs used to have that problem all the time when you accelerate everything pulley spins faster... and they're spinning in the belt

...cut the caps...and give an explanation as to what your describing. how does it stop the squeakin?

if the tensioner is bad, he should get a new one...could be the pulley of an accessory itself also. run the car and listen to where its at

this is usually the case with any new part installed. if it didn't do it before, then it's either the new part or the installation. odds are a pulley or manual tensioner didn't just go bad at the point of install of the new belts. check the deflection and tighten or loosen if necessary.
