cel again

so my cel just came on again for the 3rd time and i am wondering what exhaust gas recirculation is.. it is a p0400 code and it for exhaust gas recirculation whats this?

EGR valve has been disabled or is malfunctioning. Not a big deal at all, dont worry about it.

yea but it has like this bad boost lag sometimes and it doesnt feel right at about 2800~3000rpms right when it spools pretty much

The egr valve could be sticking open a little bit. It could make it run like crap also.
