never heard of that, youd have to have some kind of screwed up system because a ss shifter will just shorten your throw within cab. the changing of the gears operates as normal, but the shifter has smaller parts so you may move the 'knob' a shorter distance but the outcome results in the same distance for it to change gears.

im looking to pick up BM because i like the feel and quickness and accuracy of SS shifters.

the longer you throw the more possibility you can miss. then again i also change gears alllllot and in some tight hard corners so i want that.
