Default Need ECU.......?

I'm pretty sure I need a 1g turbo ECU. If anyone has one for sale please PM or reply.

This morning my car was doing many funky things. I'm driving down 275 and I get a check engine light...and its starts running rough. I get the datalogger out and take a look, no ecu code, but I have 43 counts of knock!!!!..so I get off asap and pull into the nearest gas station. I look at the coolant temp and it's at -25 degrees then the battery voltage was at like 18.75 (something I have never seen, in my car)

Any help would be appreciated.

this is almost exactly what happened the last time my ecu went bad and it took me forever to figure out it was the ecu. So my first step here will be to rule out a disfunctional ecu, unless someone can direct me into a different option.

I'm here at work now and have the battery disconnected to re set the ecu, maybe it just that simple..who knows.

I think any 1g turbo will do the trick (my car is a 91)...I did find a ecu the only problem is I have to drive to orland to pick it up tonight.

If you have one that will work I would be much happier to take a trip to your place instead of orlando.

I think I've read about a fix for the 94 egr problem. It involved wiring a resistor into a particular circuit or something like that. I'd have to try some searches to find the exact solution.

90 will work in a 91-94, just change 2 pins on the ECU connector.

i thought the EGR problem was just on california emissions cars?

i think clay has the hookup. my friend joey said he was in good w/ the owner of Magic and said we would be able to get an ECU off him for $100-ish... she called up magic and they said $300. we laughed in their faces. fuck Magic and their outrageous prices. im not kissin anyones ass to get a fair price.

maybe i can take this old one and try to replace the caps... if the board isnt too far gone. im just not sure of my soldering capabilites in small pieces like boards. Wiring i got down, boards are a diff story..
