thats a cute intercooler and all... but whats w/ the end tanks and extra pipes?

are all the 2G intracooler kits like that?

i dont know if you knew this about aftermarket intercoolers, espeically big ones... but the ALL add lag, i dont care who you are or what your post count is.

i have a Yonaka intercooler on the DSM... and there is lag w/ the 14b. you can easily tell... you can watch the needle jump to 15 psi and once it moves past that 15 psi mark... the car really starts to move. we can run 18-20 psi on the street all the time now but when the turbo spools, the car spews a cloud of black exhaust before it takes off... i can explain why but that may bore some of you people...

lag is just an issue you will have to deal with. how much lag is up to you and your wallet

oh and a T25 w/ a big front mount, funky end tanks and and longer, large-diameter pipes is definitly over kill.... its only a stop-gap solution till you get a bigger turbo. anyone who seriously tries to campaign a T25 powered car w/ a big FMIC has some issues.

Agreed! But you got to do all you can when your home for a month. Just working on the thing was what i was going for. I missed being able to do that. Long story short! I have been in Korea for 6 months then came home for December and needed to do all the things I cant here! The more serious power is all to come soon enough. I cant wait either!!!

This may sound stupid but you learn as you go! What would be everything needed to strap on a T3/T4?? I plan on pushing around 350hp ATW.

350 whp? sounds like 380ish at the motor. youll be better off w/ a FP Green.

slap that baby on and run 18-20 psi and you should get your goals. just make sure youhave all the supporting fuel mods.

i dunno... would 12.7's on DR's be fast?

he will need all the fuel to support the boost and a good suspension to keep the front tires from unloading... but high 12's are entirely feasible w/ that turbo... in fact, if he doesnt hit high 12's, hes doing something wrong.

that piping must create more lag also... you should get a diff endtank and route that pipe behind the intercooler to the turbo outlet
