Default "CrankWalk"

I'm a dumbass when it comes to DSM's.

In another thread, someone stated that the '97 GST's were more prone to this. Could someone help me out with a definition for "Crank Walk".

Also I was looking at a (what else) '97 GST today & the tranny had a sync problem w/3rd. To down shift into 3rd from 4th He had to rev a little w/the clutch disengaged. Did I just happen upon a bad tranny ? or do '97 have some specific issues ?

TIA

um your wrong. A bad tr bearing/clutch makes the rpms drop when the clutch is pushed in also. Its just one characteristic of CW.

Swing a hard left with the clutch pushed in and then let go of the clutch when ur about to straighten out, if the pedal stays on the floor, its walked, if not, it might be walking or its ok.
