me and my buddy hollowed out my cat the other day... there is no honey comb or mesh shit at all, you can see straight through it. but now when ever i am at a light or let the car wind down it smells sooo damn fumey. i get my safc put on and tuned this week... do you all think that this might fix the problem, or do your cars do this too... im sick and tired of getting, "your car smells like shit and why does it squeak when you shift, and aren't you gunna turn your car off?" i just hate the fact that is smells like a damn 70something pickup truck...

mine does not seem to stink much but its also tunned well. I have a full muffler and no cat...

Why are you even asking this? You know the car has no cat; therefore excess fuel is not being burned. And you say that the car is not tuned. All cars that run too rich with no cat smell.
