ok..havent been to clearwater beach in a while, but i was out there tonight and there was this car with gto_vr4 on it anyway i guess this kid is from up state somewhere and he told ever one that he had 320whp and that he would race anyone for money....he said that he just spent 10grand on a j-spec motor:o
but he wouldn't show anyone the motor....now here is the interesting part when the kid left he tried to do a burnout but oddly the front tires only where spining...now my question to you guys....arent vr4's awd?

all VR4's should be AWD, but who knows...people do silly things.

I went and looked at a GSX (I think) galant and somone converted it to FWD.

 

people convert GS Galants to turbo and they are FWD, there is a bunch of possibilitys. I dont think anyone converted a VR4 to FWD, thats just retarded. and you said GTO VR4? was this a Galant or a 3000GT? sounds more like some loser with his 3000GT SL with some badges.

I think i'm correct, but could be wrong cause i'm trying to recall from memory. You Mitsu guys would know better than i.

Also, what is so weird about an AWD useing just two of its drive wheels? It doesn't neccessarely mean that it has been 'converted'. I've seen plenty of awd cars that are driven around with one part of the transfer case capped for many different reasons.
