Default ? about EVO 8

i was thinking about the evo 8 today, and something crossed my mind.

i know the evo is blessed with the 4g63. my question: is it a 6-bolt or a 7-bolt or something totally different from the old 4g63's? just curious...

Evos don't crankwalk.
And they're built a hellova lot stronger, and with much better quality metals than DSM's are.

Kenny, I dont know what he means by quality metals......
they do have the same cast iron block along with other goodies I'm not familiar with. I do know they have hollow cam and cam shafts.

Non of the JDm 7 bolts ever had the crank walk problem like we had with the US 7 bolt. Mistu makes a great engine then gives it to the americans to screw up. I have hear stuff about how the americans deceided to harden the crank but in relaility they ended up softening it.

The evo is just a backwards 4g63 7bolt.

Titanium and good aluminum internals. Strong blocks man, ever since the VI they've had a nack for CRAVING abuse. In fact, you won't see much potential out of the Evolution VI unless you beat the living shit out of it, im sure they still build em like that ;p

actually, i think the EvoIII is the best Evo thats come out... the rest of them are just to cluttered up and complicated.

all Evos have had 7 bolts in them, but the Evo 1-3 was oriented the way our DSM's are. in fact, the Evo 1-3 will drop into the 2G's; the 2G's version of the 4G63 is actually a watered-down version of the Evo 4G63 and it was also American produced. It was built using the original Mitsu designs... but the Chrysler had their lack-luster quality control... and ive heard stories of someone in the engine block casting plant spilling/dropping something into a vat of iron... and then Mitsubishi ended up replacing 500 Short blocks or soemthing craze like that all following the same sequence of production.

i think the Evo8 uses an "evolved" version of the Evo7 motor... if that says anything.

I have just been under the impression that only the evo 1, 2, and 3 crankwalked.
have there been numerious reports of evo 4, 5, 6, and 7's crankwalking?

I have many questions about this subject and have a feeling no one will be able to answer this question in full detail. (does mistu even know what really went wrong?)

so if all 7 bolts crankwalk why are some worse than others?
