vibrations under boost ?

Default vibrations under boost ? **************

was datalogging and tuning last night
and when i would get into it the car would shake, kinda like the tires were out of balance, but when i went the same speed cruising, there was no vibration.
friend of mine mentioned driveshaft?

i have no clue

any help would be greatly appreciated

ya i remember feeling that in your car when we were testing out that quality new IC pipe you constructed drive shaft is a good idea, what about motor mounts, maybe you have a cracked one or something

i just got to thinking, forget the motormount idea, it only vibrates under boost.......hmmmmmmm

I had a similar problem awhile ago. took me forever to figure out what it was.

My vibration was so bad it was almost impossibile to drive the car. changed the driver side half-shaft and that took care of the problem. Its rare for an axel to get so bad, but it does happen. Maybe check to see if yours both are ok.

does it vibrate at all when just normal driving not under boost?

no vibrations till it gets under load, normal driving at every rpm/speed is fine

make sure they dont move... if they do, duct tape them. grab the axle and try to move it... it sholdnt move at all... ours move alot and the boot was separated and the whole CV joint was showing... slung grease everywhere, it was gross

just read the thread again this mornin, ill check today

should i try to wiggle the driveshaft also, just for kicks?
