hey skill i dont think ignorance and first hand knowledge mean the same thing. i put 11gs in one and all it did was blow seals, leak oil, and throw rods. the person i sold it to put a 1g engine with a 16g turbo after the 6grand race prepped motor with 7,000 miles on it blew on him as far as i know he is still trying to sell it.
maybe you or some of your friends with a similar taste for fast unreliable engines would like to take it off his hands? by the way i have a stock 2g turbo for sale if anyone wants it

Its possible to make your own honeycombs out of drinking straws. Ive heard about it done sucessfully before.

Lsrtampa, sorry to hear about your bad experience with DSMs. I guess we are all doomed to repeat your piss-poor luck. Anyone wanna buy a 1g?

personally i dont think they are unreliable engines what so ever. I think its all in how you treat your motor. I have never had a problem myself *knock on wood* and hell i know a countless number of people running daily drivers with 350-400hp, over 100,000k all on their stock bottom ends. Most of the here say about the 4g63 engine and its problems are mostly from people who havent taken the initiative to take care of their engine. Yes there is always CW and yes thats a major problem with the 7bolt motor, but you really cant prevent it. You either get it or you dont. Mitsubishi is to blame for that. The 4g63 is not a unreliable engine.

Its cool man. No harm no foul. Id probably feel the same way if had put a lot of money into a car only to blow the motor, hell i think anyone would.
