intercooler pipe or flange?

Default intercooler pipe or flange?

I jsut bought a HKS SS BOV and my friend said i can use either a flange or an upper intercooler pipe

what do you guys suggest?

Either one will work just fine. The better bet is always going to be the upper IC pipe. Eventually you will want to get hard pipes anways.

yeah, what he said...I would just go ahead and get the pipes now, because you dont want to have to pay extra for an adapter that you are just gonna throw away once you get that upper ic pipe anyways.

but why get an upper ic pipe when you will eventually get a fmic. Just get what you have money for now. I used to think the same way....well wait..why get a afc if someday I want a stand alone. then I realized that stand alone = 3000 said and done. Better to take small steps for some.

btw, I may have my upper ic pipe (stock and hard pipe) avilable by next week.
