question
i recently got a 91 GST w/ a blown headgasket. i was told that if the motor wasn't drained then the motor would seize up? the car's been sitting there for more than a year. is it true? any help would be appreciated, thanks.
if the guy who had the car ran straight water, or a coolant mix w/ too much water, its entirely possible. it would have rusted the rings into the cylinders and lock it all together.
either that or there could be coolant sitting on top of soem of the pistons. if this is the case, it would hydrolock the motor and possibly bend a rod or something if someone tried to start/run the car.

i'm debating whether i should keep this or not. i love these cars, i had a 2nd gen gst before. then i went back into the hondas and acuras. i'm leaning more towards to the force induction on the integra. not really sure yet, i have to sell my car 1st then i'll stat on the new project. anyone interested in a 91 gst????? i paid 800 for it so that is what i'll try to get back.
You should just sell it...its SO much easier to make a forced induction honda fast than any dsm.
Do you have any pictures?
I am very intersted if the interior is half decent.
