holy bullshit fucking statement, i know of 3 other pre march 95's not including my car, i know of at least 3 other people, who i know personally, who's motors have taken the stroll, its the 99's that are least likely to crankwalk, why? i dont know probably because they haven't had the time to blossom into their true crankwalking selves yet ...but, i was originally going to pick that motor up but got a little freaked out by the timing belt kinda hanging off the edge of the cam gear a little bit, call me paranoid, but anything alluding to the thought of the crank moving (possible reason for the timing belt strolling around the gears) turned me away, and i have since decided to go with a 6 bolt, stock one for now, and a higher compression with a 2g head later on down the line....all i can say, is weigh it out...all thats involved with getting the 1g motor in the 2g is wiring in a cam angle sensor and trimming a motor mount, the benefit, no worry of crankwalk (unless your name is Sean Caron, aka Tevenor, some of the more hardcore dsm'ers will know who im talking about), a much stronger bottom end (the man size rods), better cam angle sensor, and the ever controversial issue of the 1g vs. 2g head, for my purpose, i think 2g head > 1g head, so anyway, do the smart thing, and make sure you check everything that needs to be checked, www.vfaq.com will tell you how, but if somethin bad happens, dont say you weren't warned

i got the motor and took it home and checked it out everthing seems ok with it ! The car really wont be for hauling ass, the belt moved because the plastic cover was rubbing it out the cover got stuck under it somehow. Ive seen the belst move around alot it didnt seem that bad to me ! we'll see if it blows again ill go with a 1st gen the shop i have doing it (only because i dont have the equipment) said he wont do the 1st gen swap and we already paid him ! The other guy i was getting my 1st gen from did a swap and it seemed simple as hell and he had it running i drove it ! He said he can do it and he had proof but by then it was to that i got my money back and bought th 2nd gen engine !! Hopefully it wont go but if it dos back to the engine search !!! This car is kinda owned by two people its a friend of mines and mine sorta ! the guy who had it before blew it BAD and ivebeen trying to fix it for her and ive put lotsa $$$ in it so its kinda ours ! its not all my choice and it wont be for hauling booty !! BUT if this engine is bad !!!! I will deffinetly be calling 92CXhatch and will be chatting with him !!! But i trust its good, and it better be !!
