The one thing that I hate about my 2g is making u-turns...oh how I hate the turning radius of an eclipse. I sometimes have to make those extra wide turns to do a u-turn without hitting it in reverse.
No oil leaks here in mine though...its starting to burn, I need maintenance done.
My 1st gear has never slipped out under acceleration, but then again I just replaced my clutch.
Crankwalk is the only problem you should worry about with a 2g.

turn ratio sucks in this car, thats about it
what car are you looking at taht has all those problems... and give me a description of it and a phone number of the person selling it... if you are in fact looking at a car that has those problems...
if you are just curious and have heard rumors... its a problem found on ALLL CARS.
The cam cover gasket on DSM's likes to leak, especially where the cams are.
The tranny only slips outa gear if the tranny was abused
the turning radius sucks if there is no ackerman-angle or crazy/messed up suspention geometry (fucked up caster or camber). If the geometry is messed up, itll make the tires scrub too much when turned sharply and youll basicaly just plow/understeer, even at slow speeds. you can really tell in a parking lot; Liek when you pull into a parking space. If tires squeal or sound like they are sliding on the pavement ALOT, the suspension geometry might be off. but then again, sometiems it just cant be helped cuz of the amount of travel on the steering rack. sometimes it just does not alow enough travel to turn the wheels sharply.
