You can get one for like 10 - 50 bucks. that is MBC
I would also suggest not using your stock boost guage...thoes are pretty much worthless. Get an aftermarket auto meter or something so you get accurate readings.

It is possible to run a "T" in the line from you boost signal to the wastegate actuator and leave the "T" open to the atmosphere. We did this on my friends 93 TSi FWD and it gave about 2.5 lbs. per "T". The boost increase depends on the gauge of the hose/"T".
Good luck and I hope you have the fuel to back up the boost.

sounds ghetto. Visit DSMTUNERS website and read some archives. Then go on EBAY and get a "manual boost controller" (mbc)

when i got my car, a buddy with same car said it seemed faster than his (stock). so when i got a boost gauge it read 14 pounds steady until redline... so i had him look at it. he jus told me i was lucky and then i got a mbc and another boost actuator. i was thenrunning 20+ pounds. mbc is disconnected and im running stock boost everything.now this new boost actuator only gives a steady 10 pounds. where do i find these limited 14psi actuators?????
